To Keep or Not to Keep...

So I was stoked on these (product) red beats by dre solos and hunted them down for less than retail. The packaging and style def get an A from me. They look really cool but after listening to about 20 songs on them, they have yet to out perform my $45 high def sony earbuds. I expected to be blown away by them but instead I've just grown to appreciate my sony's that much more - they play my weezer and my pac amazingly. I've been told to give them about 100 hours of break in time so I guess we'll see what happens.

Update: i got rid of the purty thangs and grabbed some $400 ultimate ears on amazon for $140. they kill the beats in terms of richness and clarity and still pick up low frequency bass (which I live for). Chea!
